The landfill reclamation process is carried out after its filling and after its gradual closure.
The landfill surface is treated and then reclaimed by the installation of reclamation layers:
- Degassing layer
- Mineral seal
- Artificial drainage layer
- Vegetation cover - grassing
A hygienic-insulating greenery is realized along its perimeter. The result is the configuration and appearance of the landfill body suitably fitting into the surrounding landscape.
Landfill reclamation improves the environment of the surrounding area. In addition, the possibility of contamination of surface and underground waters of the territory where the landfill is located as well as its surrounding landscape will be avoided.
